The article investigates the beginning of Japan’s destruction of the system of international relations that have developed since the First World War. The author traces the events in the Far East, finds the reasons for the success of Japanese aggression against China and the inability of the world community with the League of Nations to halt the policy of expansion. It is concluded that the success of Japan became possible due to the favorable coincidence of circumstances, the existence of contradictions between the guarantor states and the lack of effective mechanisms of influence on the aggressor in the League of Nations, as well as the internal situation of China, covered by civil war.У статті досліджується початок руйнування Японією сист...
